Chief Learning Officer @ Biogen
Angela Justice is Biogen’s chief learning officer. She is responsible for establishing learning as a competitive force through compelling, integrated and aligned learning experiences that demonstrate measurable business impact, enrich employees and help change the lives of patients. She leads global learning teams supporting research and development, medical affairs, commercial, operations and manufacturing, and corporate functions. Previously, Justice was a senior director, global medical excellence & training at Biogen where she had worldwide responsibility for developing and implementing medical training programs, governance and process excellence. She has been at Biogen since July 2012.
Justice began her professional career at McKinsey & Co. as a management consultant. From there, she spent five years at the National Multiple Sclerosis Society as the executive vice president of the Greater Illinois Chapter where she led the chapter programs, marketing, communications and public relations, and information technology departments. Next, Justice spent five years at EMD Serono first as a medical science liaison and ultimately, leading a medical science liaison team in neurology.
Justice has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Minnesota State University and a doctorate in biopsychology from the University of Chicago, where she was also an adjunct faculty member.
